Wall Installation

Architects Michael McGrattan and James Petty created an installation at the Yale School of Architecture to demonstrate how to efficiently use basic building materials to create a dynamic design through digital fabrication techniques and clever modularity. The installation was constructed and moved into place in a single 24-hour period using eight identical panels. The carefully scripted design resulted in zero waste of off-cut material as proof that well-thought design can create better and more efficient construction.
