Studio
Postscript Studio is an architecture studio operating from Beacon, New York. The studio blends contemporary design with historic details with a focus on detail, texture, and fun. All architecture should exhibit fun and the life inhabiting the project.
The studio is also involved in construction and development.
James Petty, AIA
Founder
James received his Master of Architecture from Yale University and his Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Houston and the AA School of Architecture. Prior to Postscript, James has worked on medium and large-scale residential, institutional, and commercial projects in New York City, New Haven, London, Munich, Brussels, and Tokyo.
James has lectured on the profession of architecture at Harvard, Columbia, Yale, multiple local AIA chapters, and the national AIA Conference on Architecture. He is the author of Architect & Developer: A Guide to Self-Initiating projects.
